  • Once you arrive you will enter through the fitness facility entrance.

  • Front desk staff will direct you to our waiting area.

  • Once it is time for your appointment a clinician will call you in.

For most of our therapy services comfortable clothes, shorts and T-shirts are recommended.

Some of the more common treatments we have are:

  • Fascial stretch therapy - type of assisted stretching technique that targets the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, joints, and organs. The primary goal of FST is to improve flexibility, mobility, and overall body function by addressing restrictions in the fascia.

  • FST works by applying gentle traction and stretching to the body, focusing on the fascia and surrounding structures. The therapist uses specific movements to stretch the fascia in multiple directions, helping to release tension and promote a better range of motion. This therapy is typically performed on a treatment table with the client fully supported, and it can involve both active and passive movements.

  • Manual Therapies/ Joint mobilization and Manipulation -  Manual therapy techniques in physiotherapy involve hands-on methods used by a therapist to treat musculoskeletal pain, stiffness, and movement dysfunctions. These techniques aim to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing by manipulating the tissues and joints of the body.

  • Acupuncture is a traditional treatment where tiny, thin needles are gently inserted into specific points on the body. It’s believed to help balance the flow of energy, or "Qi" (pronounced "chee"), and improve health. People use acupuncture to treat various conditions, such as pain, stress, and even digestive issues. It's often used as a complementary therapy alongside other medical treatments.

  • Electrotherapeutic and sound therapies, uses electrical currents to treat pain, promote healing, and reduce inflammation in the body. The therapy involves applying small electrical impulses to specific areas through electrodes placed on the skin. These electrical currents can help improve circulation, stimulate muscles, reduce swelling, and relieve pain. Sound therapies can also be used to treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. It involves using sound waves to generate heat and promote healing in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints.

With a combination of the above, most biomechanical dysfunctions can be resolved. Exercise therapy is prescribed as both therapy and as a prevention strategy for future tension.
