A graduate of the Queen’s University Physiotherapy program in 2006, Mark has acquired 15 years of experience in treating, assessing, and preventing orthopaedic injuries. In that time Mark has consulted for Canada’s National Basketball program, worked clinically at some of Toronto’s largest sports medicine centres, and held Clinical Director titles.

Mark boasts a treatment approach that focuses on breaking the cycle of pain and injury through improving joint mobility and improving muscle imbalances. Mark also holds certificates in acupuncture, Active Release Techniques, and manual therapies. Mark prides himself in utilizing these tools to provide an expert level of care.

Darlene Rivero


Massage Therapist

Darlene studied at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and graduated in 2020. She graduated with the most hands-on hours in her term, and her favourite subjects were neuroscience and exercise science. Darlene spent a majority of her hands-on hours working with Toronto Rehab’s Bickle Centre in the Complex Continuing Care unit, where she treated the concerns of patients who had various neurological disorders. She also spent a significant amount of time in Toronto Rehab’s MSK rehab unit, treating patients with various musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures and more.

Some treatment techniques she utilizes include cupping, triggerpoint therapy, fascial work, lymphatic drainage, and joint mobilizations.

Darlene’s treatment approach is to create a plan that is the most efficient to get them meet their goals. Treatment plans can be created to help decrease pain, increase range of motion, or optimize your self care routine. She ensures concerns are addressed thoroughly while prioritizing client experience and comfort with each treatment. You can expect moderate to heavy pressure during treatment.

Amy Zheng


Massage Therapist

Amy Zhou Qing Zheng, Graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has over a decade of clinical work experience treating a variety of populations. Amy’s career has allowed her the opportunity to treat young and older clients. She has worked in pain management settings, where massage therapy was the primary method for pain relief. Amy enjoys all aspects of massage therapy. She has a special interest in post stroke and lymphatic edema, amongst other conditions treated.

With deep family roots in healthcare, Amy was able to observe her mother who was a medical doctor in rural china. This forced her and her family to be creative when managing the health of the community. Those same skills have allowed Amy to adapt, and apply effective and creative therapy solutions in today’s ever changing environment.

Amy’s passion for healthcare led her to further her education at Centennial College where she graduated from the nursing program. She still works clinically as a nurse when she is not providing massage therapy.

Amy is an avid runner, she loves hiking, and exploring nature. As a local resident of Richmond Hill, you can find Amy exploring the Greenbelt on her time off.
