Feeling “tight” is a common complaint when it comes to the human body. While reduced muscle length is often the culprit, addressing tightness isn’t always as simple as stretching the affected area. Many individuals attempt static stretching to alleviate tightness, only to find their mobility unchanged. This may be because other structures, beyond the muscles, are contributing to the restriction.
